Welcome to East London's cultural center. Bodhi incorporates a daytime cafe, a bar and a gallery space.

Bodhi bar & cafe is open from 12 (noon) until late. The newly refurbished Bodhi bar offers a full drinks menu of amazing fresh fruit cocktails, non alcoholic cocktails, beers and wines, as well as coffees and our unique range of teas. Free wireless available throughout the day, making Bodhi a perfect place to spend your day.

Bodhi Gallery
We have an amazing underground gallery space, showcasing the best in art talent from around the world. The space also houses a select mini-store, carrying the best subculture brands, from toys, clothing, books, magazines as well as a special selection of international independent brands.

What is the value of art? On Thursday, July 23rd the Bodhi gallery will attempt to answer that question be doing something radical for Lauren J Shanahan’s exhibition ‘Becoming’. You will be able to name your own price. All of the pieces will be part of an open auction which you can bid on in person or on online via http://LJbay.blogspot.com.
Here are the rules:
1. Every painting has a reserve price equivalent to the cost of the materials.
2. The silent auction will last from July 23rd at 6:30pm to July 29th at 12:00pm during the ‘Becoming’ exhibition.
3. Bidders will place their bids on each of the paintings in person at the Bodhi Gallery (214 Brick Lane, London England) or online at the LJ Bay Blog or Twitter.
4. Emails will go out to the bidders when their bid has been trumped, at which point they may choose to up their bid.
5. The top bid of each day will be announced via Facebook, the LJ Bay Blog and on the league table at the gallery.
6. At the end of the week long exhibition the winners will be contacted and payment, shipping or pick up will be arranged.
